DUPUIS, NELIDA
Nelida Dupuis of Memramcook East passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at the age 94. Born in Haute Aboujagane on June 11, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Philippe LeBlanc and the late Ida Gaudet.
She operated Magasin Générale in Memramcook East until her retirement and was a member of the Golden Age Club of Pre-D’en-Haut.
She will be sadly missed by her three daughters, Rose-Marie (Bernard) Saulnier of Dieppe, Rachel (Ronald) Saulnier and Linda Dupuis (Wendell Richards) of Memramcook East; two sons, Donald (Joanne) Dupuis of Dieppe and Clarence Dupuis of Memramcook East; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; her caregiver, Chantal and by several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Emile (1956), one daughter Jeannette and by six brothers, Valerie, Arcade, Eugene, Dollard, Jean-Baptiste and Alcide.
Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Friday, April 22 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. Funeral service will be held at Notre Dame de Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Memramcook East on Saturday, April 23 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
