INGALLS, ROBERT "BOB" E.
On Friday, April 22, 2016, at the Passamaquoddy Lodge in St. Andrews, NB, and formerly of Lincoln, NB, Robert “Bob” Earl Ingalls passed away at the age of 87. Born in Grand Manan, NB, he was a son of the late Sutton and Mildred (Thompson) Ingalls and was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
A Stationary Engineer and Steam-Fitter by trade, he worked for Connors Brothers in Blacks Harbour, NB for many years and at CFB Gagetown for 35 years. During his time living in Lincoln, he was a member of the Lincoln Baptist Church.
Bob is survived by two children, Earle (Debbie) Ingalls of St. George, NB and Susan Jodoin (David) of Edmonton, AB; three grandchildren, Jeff Ingalls (Sarah), Sarah Karyus (Sahin) and Kristie Tutts (Grant); a step-grandson, Jacob Markee; seven great- grandchildren, Hannah, Parker, Lydia, Emma, Karim, Brianna and Cameron; several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Bob was predeceased by his wife Laura Joyce (Simms) Ingalls in 2014; also a sister Delores Smith and a brother Wilbert (Buddy).
By request, there will be no visitation or funeral service at this time. A graveside committal service will be held at the Lower Lincoln Cemetery at a later date.
For those who wish, remembrances to the Gideon Bible Society would be appreciated.
