BECK, JOHN "JACK" WILLIAM
1940 – 2016
John "Jack" Beck of Riverview passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016 at The Moncton Hospital. Born at Levy Road, Albert County, he was the son of the late Harry and Mary (Levy) Beck.
John began his career as an Electrician with Star Electric and later with CN. He was a vendor at The Moncton Farmers Market for several years, where he had also served as the manager and had also been involved in the amateur ham radio community. John had a true and genuine appreciation for people and a special passion for dogs, in particular his dear companion Honey.
He will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Sylvia Beck, daughter, Kimberley Beck of Riverview, as well as his cousins who where like brothers and sisters to him; Gerald, Sandra, Linda, Dorothy and Donald. Besides his parents he was predeceased by a brother, Jim and a cousin, Jim.
The family will be receiving friends and relatives at Cobb’s Funeral Home & Cremation Center 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview, NB (869-2007) on Tuesday from 3 to 5 pm and 7 to 9 pm, with a service celebrating John’s life to take place from Cobb’s Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, April 27th at 11 am. The interment will follow in Alderwood Cemetery.
Donations made to Canadian Cancer Society or Arthritis Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
