TILLEY, JOHN "HENRY" WOODROW
1942 - 2016
J. "Henry" Tilley, of Lawrencetown, NS; passed away at The Moncton Hospital, on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at the age of 74 years. Born in LaScie, NL he was the son of the late Wilbert and Dora (Parsons) Tilley.
Henry was a member of The Salvation Army and had also attended the Cherry Brook United Baptist Church in Cherry Brook, NS where he played the organ for many years. Henry will be remembered by many for his passion for Carpentry and his love of music. He made several guitars by hand over the years.
Survived by his loving wife Amy Rose (Hillier) Tilley of Lawrencetown, NS; daughter Sharlene (Brent) Caines of Ottawa, ON; sons Shannon (Tricia) Tilley of Riverview and Sean (Carol) Huxter of Hudson, MA, USA; brother Charlie Tilley of LaScie, NL; sisters Mavis (Harry) Legge of Labrador City, NL, and Joyce (Ronald) Stuckless of Glenwood NL; grandchildren Sheridan, Dante, Dominic, Cole, Parker, Blake, and Charlotte.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his son Sheridan; sister Eileen Ward; brother Raymond Tilley.
The funeral service will be held at The Salvation Army Citadel, Corner of Centennial Dr and St. George Blvd. Moncton, NB; on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 12:00 pm with Captain Leigh Ryan officiating.
Donations in Henry's memory made to The Salvation Army church would be appreciated by the family.
