MUISE, Martin Louis – 62, Amirault’s Hill, Yarmouth Co., passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at home. Born August 11, 1953 in Amirault’s Hill, he was a son of the late J. Elien and Blanche F. (LeBlanc) Muise. Martin worked as an auto body technician for Murray GM in Yarmouth for the past four years, having worked in the same position with Tusket Ford for nearly 40 years before that. In his younger years, Martin enjoyed playing softball as a pitcher and more recently he enjoyed playing crib and keeping up with the latest in television technology. He is survived by his partner, Mary Doucette, as well as by a brother, Edward (Elsie) LeBlanc, Ste-Anne-du-Ruisseau; a sister, Nancy (Enos) Jacquard, Edmonton; a brother-in-law, Bradford Muise, Quinan; a sister-in-law, Marion Doucette, Hubbard’s Point, as well as many nieces and nephews. Aside from his parents, he was predeceased by brothers Flavien and Jules Muise, as well as by sisters, Lorraine Muise and Pauline LeBlanc. Visitation took place from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday with prayers at 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, April 25 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Amirault’s Hill, Father Maurice LeBlanc officiated. Interment took place in the parish cemetery. It was requested that there be family flowers only.
