THOMPSON, GARNET "GUY"
Mr. Garnet W. "Guy" Thompson formerly of Summit Ave, Sussex, passed away at the Kiwanis Nursing Home on April 28, 2016 at the age of 98. He was the son of the late Mark and Maggie Jane (Fawcett) Thompson.
Guy was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is predeceased by his wife, Lura Thompson (2006) and by his sister, Mary Rutledge.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). A service celebrating Guy's life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Monday, May 2, 2016 at 1:00 pm, immediately followed by a tribute from The Royal Canadian Legion Sussex Branch #20.
