RIOUX, GERALD "JERRY"
At the Falls Villa (Grand Falls Manor), April 29, 2016, Mr. Gerald "Jerry" Rioux of Grand Falls passed away at the age of 75. He was the husband of Jeanne (Lebel) Rioux. Born at Drummond in 1940, he was a son of the late Edward "Eddie" and Adele (Picard) Rioux.
Jerry was a mechanic and loved fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his wife, seven children, Line (Claude Lemay) of Moncton, Jimmy (Lise Desjardins), Janet (Daniel "Bleu" Levesque), Rina (Aldéo Cyr), Lise (Michel Levesque), Tammy (Jean St-Onge) and Gerald Jr. Rioux, all of Grand Falls, 13 grandchildren, Christine, Scott, Jonathan, Eric, Nicholas, Luc, Sophie, Marc, Pierre, Véronik, Mason, William and Heidi, two great grandchildren, Landen and Nadège, brothers and sisters, Odette Albert (late Adam) of Limestone, Maine, Jeannine Cyr (late Peter) of Hamlin, Maine, Guildo of St-Eustache, Quebec, Joel (Yvonne), Sylvain (Colette) of Grand Falls, Gaetane Desjardins of Saint-Andre, Gracien (Denise) of Grand Falls, Greta Ledoux (Jean-Guy) of Oromocto, Jocelyne Morin (Hubert) and Glenn (Alvine) of Grand Falls, sister-in-law, Gaetane Rioux (late Alyre) of Grand Falls, brother-in-law, Roland Corbin (late Gemma) of Dover-Foxcroft, Maine, several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, Alyre two sisters, Gemma Corbin and an infant sister, Joanne.
Resting at O’Regan’s Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. His funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 3rd at 4 p.m. from the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Grand Falls with interment in the parish cemetery.
