1925 – 2016
Royal Nowlan, 90, of Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche and formerly of Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at the Manoir on Monday May 2, 2016. Born in Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, he was the son of the late Daniel and the late Marie (Girouard) Nowlan.
He was a fisherman and farmer by trade and a WW11 veteran.
He will be sadly missed by his twin brother; Laurie (Jeannette) of Sainte-Anne-de-Kent as well as several nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by three sisters; Rita, Loretta and Cécilia and two brothers, Emile and Léonce.
Visitations will be held at the Sainte-Anne-de-Kent Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room on Wednesday May 4, 2016 from 7 to 9 and on Thursday from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Sainte-Anne-de-Kent Church on Thursday May 5, 2016 at 11:00 am with interment in the parish cemetery.
In Royal’s memory donations may be made to the Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche.
