E. Margaret Doucet

Margaret, widow of the late Alex Dan Doucet, passed away at the The Briarlea on Sunday, May 1, 2016, following a period of failing health.
Born in Berry Mills, NB in 1926 she was the oldest child of Lee and Jean (Glendinning) Johnson and had lived in Berry Mills and on Mitchner Ave. in Moncton.
She is survived by sisters, Helen Laity (late Walter) and Roberta Richardson (Willis); stepchildren, Daniel Doucet and Rachel Blanchard of Ontario and Adrienne MacIntosh of Mispec, NB.
She was predeceased by her brother, Raymond "Bud" Johnson in 2010 and sister, Marion Robinson (Jack) in 2011.
She was also survived by many nieces and nephews and two grandsons in Ontario, all whom she cherished.
Following her marriage in 1971 she retired from the office at Cooperative Farm Services. She and Alex Dan were married for 42 years until his passing in 2013. Margaret was a member of the First Moncton United Baptist Church. She enjoyed local family get-togethers and the trips to Cape Breton and New Hampshire. She and Alex Dan had also enjoyed travelling to Bermuda, Europe and across Canada.
