MacDONALD, CLARENCE H.
Clarence H. MacDonald, 83, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, May 3, 2016. Born in New Glasgow, NS, he was the son of the late Henry and Juanita (Lowe) MacDonald.
Clarence was retired from the Canadian Armed Forces and Canadian Shopping Centres, Moncton. He was a member of the Moncton Motorcycle Touring Club, the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #6 and the Moncton Air Force Veterans Club. Clarence enjoyed riding his motorcycle, dancing, country music, working with stained glass, trailering, vacations in Florida and his “two fingers of Rye”.
Clarence will be sadly missed by his wife, Geraldine Cusack MacDonald; sons, Michael of Edmonton, AB and Roger of Brantford, ON; stepson, Jeffery Ross of Moncton and stepdaughter, Elaine Curwin (Darryl) of Waterdown, ON; stepdaughter, Maxine Mattinson (Sheldon) of Moncton; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his 1st wife, Janet Marie (MacDonald), the mother of his two sons and 2nd wife, Betty D. (Woodworth-Murray), the mother of his stepdaughter, Maxine.
Sharing of Memories for Clarence will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Friday, May 6, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Interment will be held at the United Church Cemetery, Wentworth Centre, NS at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations to a memorial of choice would be appreciated by the family.
