Janica Daigle

DAIGLE, JANICA
1968-2016
Janica Andrée Daigle, age 48, wife of Brian Robichaud, of Moncton passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, May 1st, 2016.
It is with profound sadness that we share news of the passing of our dear Janica.
Survived by her loving husband Brian Robichaud, who she adored. Her true soulmate, as she often said. Also survived by her brothers Stéphane Daigle (Geneviève Braun) and Mathieu Daigle (Ailish Sullivan), all from Moncton.
She was predeceased by her precious parents, Julien Daigle, 60, (2002), and Juliette Daigle (Robichaud), 62, (2006).
Janica a “shining light” was cherished by all those who had the fortune of knowing her. While she will be profoundly missed, the memories she leaves us with are as vibrant as her personality. Many will remember her outgoing nature, her wonderful sense of humour and amazing style. But mostly we will remember her kindness and how deeply she cared about her loved ones. Janica had a tremendous gift for making people feel special and she always went out of her way to do so. Her creative flair always came through in her activities, and her caring nature was a constant strength. She was an exceptional person and lived her life with a wonderful grace and style that was truly and uniquely hers.
She enjoyed helping so many throughout her career. She adored sharing the beauty of New Brunswick through her roles with Tourism NB and was looking forward to her new position with Parks Canada. Many will also remember her through her years as Manager at Maverick’s, Boomerang’s and Cosmo in Moncton; where her wonderful clients became her friends. She studied at the NBCC in Interior Design and was a graduate of Mathieu-Martin in Dieppe.
Janica "Jan" (La Grande) was a proud Acadian and loved celebrating and sharing her heritage, especially the seafood and mom’s Chicken Fricot recipe. She was born in Grand Falls (NB), raised and lived most of her life in Moncton. She thoroughly enjoyed the Maritimes and the natural beauty that surrounds us, and particularly enjoyed summer camping at their beautiful trailer bordering the water in (L.A.) Little Aldouane. She loved spending time with her loved ones, sharing great stories and greater laughs. Nothing was better than ending a day with her husband Brian and the two “fur-babies” Hogan and Brody, admiring the stunning sunset over the water. Her therapeutic hobbies included tending to her gorgeous gardens, lounging by the fireplace with a good book beside her furry boys and spending as much time as possible with the people she loved. She has left a lasting impression on the many lives that she touched and will be remembered with much love.
Janica’s courage, love and outstanding devotion to live life will never be forgotten.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Assumption Cathedral, 220 St. George Street, Moncton on Saturday May 7, 2016 at 12 pm (noon).
In memory of Janica, a contribution to Lupus New Brunswick would be appreciated.
