JOHN ROBERT KINSLOW
August 19, 1949 – May 2, 2016

It is with great sadness that the family of the late John Kinslow announces his passing at the Halifax Infirmary, Nova Scotia at the age of 66 years. Born in Isle aux Morts, John was the son of the late John and Emily (nee Neil) Kinslow. He was also predeceased by his mother and father-in-law James and Elizabeth Kane, brother William Kinslow and brother-in-law James Kane Jr. He leaves to mourn with many memories his loving and devoted wife Kathleen of 39 years. A loving father he will remain in the hearts of his children Jason (Joy), Wanda all of Halifax NS, John (Connie) Dartmouth NS, and Chris (Anita) Halifax NS, a proud poppy he will be remembered by his grandchildren Mallory, Cassidy, Jessica, Daniel, Rossalyn, Emily, Carla, Holly, Justin, Devin, Jacob and his great grandchildren Mya, Brooklyn, Vivian, Landen, Briana and Laycie. He will also remain in the hearts of his brothers and sisters Raymond (Marion), Wallace (Karen), Bruce, Philip, Lou (Carlo), Tom (Joanne), Bertha and Darleen (Stewart), brothers and sisters in law; Ches (Gertie), Wanda, Steve (Linda), and Dean, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation took place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Holy Spirit Anglican Church in Isle aux Morts. Funeral services took place on Monday, May 9, 2 p.m. from Holy Spirit Anglican Church with Rev. Maryrose Colbourne officiating. Interment followed at Hillside Haven Anglican Cemetery, Isle aux Morts Road. Flowers graciously accepted or donations in John's memory may be made to the family.
