Edith volunteered her services in World War 2 and risked her life in London during the bombings. She worked at the Queen Victoria Hospital on a ward for burn victims of the war. She was a kind and gracious person who always put others first. She loved to engage with people of all ages and walks of life. Her giving and compassionate nature was ever present. She had many interest but it was classical music, travel, genealogy, gardening, birding and wildlife sightings that brought her the most joy. We were truly blessed to have such a lovely lady as our Mom and she will be greatly missed.
Our family would like to extend our thanks to caregivers, Amy Lucas and Priscilla Brown for the wonderful support and care they gave our Mom.
