Romeo Leger

Romeo Leger, 58, of Quebec, and formerly of Moncton, went to be with his Saviour on Friday, May 6, 2016 at Jeffrey Hale Hospital in Quebec after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Pierre and Marie (LeBlanc) Leger.
Romeo was employed with General Maintenance at Costco Wholesale. Romeo’s hobby was working with computers and uncovering the mysteries of technology.
Romeo will be sadly missed by his daughter, Vanessa Leger and son, Gabriel Leger; granddaughters, Maïa and Victoria; Sylvie Beaudet, long-time friend and mother of his children; sisters, Phyllis Morton (Cecil), Dorine Melanson (Louis), Francine Leger-Guitard (Gabriel); brothers, Raymond Leger (Lorraine), Leo Leger, Robert Leger (Judy) and Paul Leger (Jeannette); many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by an older brother, Romeo Leger.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at 10:00 am, with Mr. Gerald St. Laurent officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment will be held at Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery.
In Romeo’s memory, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cancer Society or a memorial of the donor’s choice.
