Passed peacefully away at her home in Witless Bay on Saturday, May 14th, 2016 Bridie Harrigan age 89. Predeceased by her parents Wilfred and Mary; husband Augustus Harrigan, 1973; sisters Lucy Dunham, 2013, Genevieve Williams, 2015; brothers Michael Lundrigan, 1976, George Lundrigan, 1986; sons Wilfred Harrigan, 2014, James Harrigan, 2016; daughter-in-law Bernice Harrigan, 2016; nephew Byron Dunham, 2006. Leaving to mourn her beloved daughter Margaret (Vince) Swain, daughter-in-law Fran Harrigan, sister-in-law Tillie (Bernie) Williams, 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren as well as a large circle of family and friends, nieces and nephews and her wonderful caregivers, special lifelong friends Tom and Roz Carey. Resting at Ryan's Funeral Home, Bay Bulls on Monday, May 16th from 4-9 pm and Tuesday, May 17th from 2-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial to take place on Wednesday, May 18th at Sts. Peter and Paul's R.C. Church, Bay Bulls at 10 am. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery Witless Bay.
