Dorothy Doucette, Glace Bay, passed away on Oct. 22, 2015 at the age of 76.
Born in Scotchtown, she was the daughter of the late John Charles and Mary Ann (Poirier) Bourgeois.
Dorothy is survived by her husband Charley; sons, Lenny (Mary Ellen) Ontario, Charley, Glace Bay, Frances (Ginny), Glace Bay, Bobby (Belinda), Glace Bay; brothers, Leo, Wilfred, Henry, Melvin, Raymond; sisters, Evelyn, Lorraine, Pauline and Diane; grandchildren, Lenny, Jennifer, Jordan O’Neil and Jordan MacNeil.
She was also predeceased by brothers, Tom, Charley, Peter, Willie John and Thomas, sisters, Mary and Tilley.
Cremation has taken place. A chapel service will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at 9 a.m. with Fr. Ray Huntley officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of McLellan Brothers Funeral Home, 3183 Plummer Ave., New Waterford, 862-7500.
