Paul Léger, 95, of Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Québec, formerly of Moncton, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2016. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Arthur and Jeanne (Belliveau) Léger; husband of the late Lorraine née Cormier (2012); dear brother of the late Camille (Imelda), late Rita Bastarache (late Éric), late Yvonne Niles (late Albert), Henri (late Armande), late Géraldine, late Antoine (Jeannine), Thérèse Green (late Hugh), late Raymond (late Bernice), Catherine Léger, late Marie-Jeanne Melanson (Gérald), Jacqueline Manuel (Éric), Annette St-Cœur (late Alphée), Victor (late Yvonne), late Antoinette Léger, Pauline Lannigan (late Thomas), and late Pierre; uncle to many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive condolences Friday from 7 to 9 pm at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) from where the funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday, May 21 at 11 am followed by a reception in the centre. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
