L. Douglas
Passed away unexpectedly at the James Paton Memorial Health Centre in Gander on May 24, 2016 L. Douglas Cudmore, age 66 years. Predeceased by his father Lorimer Cudmore, mother-in-law Mildred Newhook and brother-in-law Ernie Newhook. Left with loving memories are his mother Evelyn Cudmore, wife Christine Cudmore, son Grant (Katherine Hynes) Cudmore of Gander, brother John (Cynthia) of Quispamsis, NB, brother-in-law Glenn (Sandra) of Sandy Point, NL, sister-in-law Wanda of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, nieces and nephews Lauren Cudmore (Alex Bezeau) Cudmore of Ottawa, ON, Maria (Steve) Penney of Paradise, NL, Stephanie (Scott Mitchell) Newhook of Marystown,NL, Miranda Newhook of Middle Sackville, NS, Will Newhook of Lower Sackville, NS, special grand-niece Gracie Penney of Paradise, NL, also survived by a wide circle of neighbours and friends. Christine, Grant, and Katherine have been left with many happy memories, laughs and hopes of grandchildren someday. He very much enjoyed his jam sessions with his brother John and sister-in-law Cynthia when visiting each other as well as playing guitar with his musician friends. Resting at Stacey's Funeral Home, Gander with visitation Friday, May 27, 2016 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 3 pm from the Fraser Road United Church. Interment will be at a later date.
