LeBlanc, Ovila
Surrounded by his loving family, Ovila LeBlanc, 87, formerly of Grand Barachois, passed away on Tuesday May 24th, 2016 at the Villa Providence, Shediac. Born on April 8th, 1929 in Saint-André, he was the son of the late Alphée and Zoé (Lirette) LeBlanc.
Ovila was an avid Montreal Canadian fan and enjoyed family outings.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 65 years, Éva Cormier; his two children: Joyce Melanson (Raymond) of Cap-Pelé, Paul LeBlanc (Ginette) of Grand-Barachois.
He was predeceased by an infant daughter: Pauline; three sisters: Marie Ouellette, Alice Doiron Annie Landry and three brothers: Alfred, August and Clarence.
A private chapel service was held at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac on Friday May 27th.
In memory of Ovila, a contribution to Dr. Georges-L Dumont Foundation would be appreciated.
