ALLAIN, DOROTHY
Dorothy Allain, 71, of Shediac, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born on April 1, 1945 in Pictou, NS, she was the daughter of the late Major Deyoung and Rosalie Leger.
A devoted Catholic Dorothy was a caregiver and enjoyed helping others.
She is survived by two daughters: Tracey Allain (Lorne Savoie), Tina Louise Murphy of Shediac; one son: Mike (Alison) of Bedford NH; three sisters: Patsy and Diane Fougère of Shediac, Marie Brydges of Manitoba, One brother Louis of Shediac; six grandchildren: Corey, Meagan, Cassidy, Kyle, David and Tori; four great-grandchildren: Kaylee, Willow, Ava and Scarlett; one step-granddaughter Megan and by her former husband Bill Allain of Cap-Pelé
Besides her parents, she is predeceased by step father Philippe Fougère and a sister, Bernice.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) on Monday from 7 to 9pm., on Tuesday 9am until time of departure 10:10am. The funeral mass will be held in St. Henri Roman Catholic Church, Grand-Barachois on Tuesday, May 31, at 10:30am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
In her memory, a contribution to a food bank or to the Vestiaire St-Joseph, Shediac would be appreciated.
