It is with great sadness that the family of the late Henry Charles Janes announces his passing on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at the Long Term Care Home in Corner Brook at the age of 93 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Donald (Patricia), David (Ethel) and Jerry (Lou); grandchildren: Jason (Jackie), Sean (Cherrie), Desmond (Sandy), Darren (Jennifer), Michael (Debbie) and Mark (Rosanna); great-grandchildren: Megan, Melanie, Oliver, Maxwell and Aiden; siblings: Elizabeth Rumbolt, Jessie Neal, Naomi Yates and Effie Corderre; siblings-in-law: Ronald Yates, Fredrick Janes, Harvey Janes, Allan (Nina) Janes, Hounsell (Maudy) Neil, Amanda Tulk and Gwendolyn Dennis. Predeceased by his parents: Henry and Catherine Janes; two wives: Melvie and Annie; parents-in-law: Arthur and Ella Janes and Henry and Margaret Neil; siblings: George, Mary Heyne and Roland; siblings-in-law: Mary Janes, Clinton Heyne, Martha Janes, Garfield Rumbolt, Newman Neal, Ernest Coderre, Lawrence Deering, Mondella (Leonard) Burridge, Bessie (Frank) Best, Leslie Janes, Wallace Janes, Clive Tulk, Donald Dennis, Gordon Neil, John(Edie) Neil, Elizabeth (Harry) Janes, Alma (Garfield) Jnniex, Dulcie (Ronald) Burden and Rita (Harvey) Laing. Visitation is taking place on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Fillatre's Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive in Deer Lake. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 2 pm at St. Paul's United Church, 17 Spruce Street in Deer Lake with Rev. Myles Vardy officiating. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to St. Paul's United Church in Deer Lake.
