KITCHEN, ROGER SOLOMON
On April 22, 2016, after a short battle with brain cancer, Roger S. Kitchen of Airdrie, AB (formerly of Nackawic, NB) passed away from this life. He was born July 10, 1947 at Fredericton, NB, son of the late James Woodford (Woodie) and Catherine (Lockhard) Kitchen.

Left to mourn are his partner of 26 years, Marjory Hume; his sons, Rodney (son Austin), Randy (Shantelle and family) and Cory (Serena and family); stepchildren, Jennifer Hume (Don Crabbe and family), Susan MacFarlane (Bill and family), Colin Hume (Heidi and family) and Stephen Hume (Rhonda and family). Also mourning are Roger’s brother, Eric Kitchen (JoAnne and family) and his sister, Carol Davenport (Delbert and family); sister–in–law, Betty Kitchen (and family), cousins and numerous friends.

Roger was predeceased by his parents, his brother, James Tedford (Ted) Kitchen and an infant sister Eleanore.

He was an avid fan of NASCAR, enjoyed travelling, and relished the company of friends, both old and new.

A celebration of Roger’s life and time of sharing memories will be held at the Northampton Rec Centre, 3781 Route 105, Northampton, NB on Saturday, June 11, 2016 from 2 to 4 pm.
