SUTHERLAND, JAMES "JIM"
It is with great sadness that the family of James (Jim) Sutherland announces his passing on Friday, June 3rd, 2016 at his home.Born in Blissfield NB on December 24, 1932, he was the son of the late George Sutherland and Janet Colford.

Jim was predeceased by his wife Joan (Tucker) Sutherland and two brothers Peter Sutherland and Sherman Colford.

Jim is survived by one son Jamey of Blissfield and four daughters Marjorie O’Donnell (Kevin) of Blissfield, Elaine Sutherland Munn (Steven) of New Bandon, Carolyn Sutherland (Mark) of Marysville and Tracy Sutherland Matthews (Peter) of Devon, sisters: Margaret Jersey of Nashwaak Villa, Mary McAloon Jones of Nashwaak and Gladys Washburn of Renous, brothers: Ben Sutherland (Leona) of Blissfield, Paul Sutherland (Mary) of Devon, and Gene Colford (Elaine) of Doaktown, eight grandchildren Justin, Jesse, Aaron, Makenna, C.J., Bria, Isaac, and Drew, also several nieces and nephews and chosen daughter Jill Storey.

Jim was a member of Our Lady of Annunciation Roman Catholic Church. He owned and operated his own Trucking Business for over 60 years. He had a love of animals but especially German Shepherds and horses. He was a devoted husband and wonderful father and grandfather.

Mr. James "Jim" Sutherland is resting at Our Lady of Annunciation Roman Catholic Church, Doaktown, with visitation on Monday evening from 7 to 9 and Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Annunciation Roman Catholic Church with Father Claude Daigle officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

In memory of James "Jim" donations may be made to Our Lady of Annunciation Roman Catholic Church or a memorial of one’s choice would be appreciated.
