LeBLANC, LUCIA
1922–2016
Lucia LeBlanc, 94, of Irishtown, wife of the late Medor LeBlanc (2011), passed away at the Villa du Repos in Moncton on Monday June 6, 2016. Born on January 25, 1922, in Sainte–Marie–de–Kent she was the daughter of the late Albenie and Marguerite (Gallant) LeBlanc.

She is survived by her daughter Bernadette LeBlanc (Gerard), her son Normand LeBlanc (Bernice), her grandchildren Chantal LeBlanc (James Bustin), Gabriel LeBlanc (Melanie Stewart), Shawn McGuire (Cheryl), by Bernice's son Jason Duguay, by her great–grandchildren Oliver McGuire and Malia LeBlanc Bustin; her brother–in–law Alcide LeBlanc (Jeannette), and by sisters–in–law Emma LeBlanc, Sylvia LeBlanc, Jeannette LeBlanc and by many nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Besides her husband Medor, she was predeceased by her infant son Roger, her granddaughter Charlene, her daughter Gisele (Donald), and her siblings: Violette, Stella, Lorette, Marcel, Alderic, Dolor and Rodolphe.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette’s Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858–1900) from where the funeral will be celebrated on Thursday, June 9 at 11 am. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm only. A reception at the centre will follow. Interment will be in the St. Lawrence O’Toole parish cemetery, Irishtown.
