DOUCET, JASON
It is with great sadness that the family of Jason Doucet wish to announce his passing on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital with his loving family by his side.

Jason was born on August 5, 1977 and was a devoted support worker at Kingsway Care Centre and Kennebec Manor as well as a cook at Turnbull Nursing Home. Jason had a special love for the residents and staff at each home he worked. On his free time, Jason’s passions were his family, travelling, hiking, biking, running walking, etc.

Jason was the son of J.S. Lawrence (Larry) Doucet and G. Linda (Brideau) Doucet. Jason will be sadly missed by his brother Michael Doucet of St. John’s, NL and his wife Kelly; sister Lori Piché of Quispamsis, NB and her husband Jean–Marc Piché; niece McKayla Piché; nephews Nicolas Piché, Aiden and Liam Doucet; best friend for 33 years Bernice Bordage; special cousin Brady Scribner; and several aunts, uncles, great-uncle, great-aunt, and cousins.

Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John (634–1701). A Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A Memorial Service will take place on Friday ,June 10, 2016 at 12:00 noon from Saint Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Parish. Interment will take place at St. Joseph’s cemetery. A reception will be held at Denis Morris Community Center following the service.

In lieu of flowers donations in Jason’s memory can be made to Kingsway Nursing Home, Kennebec Manor, and Turnbull Nursing Home.
