1945 – 2016
Alcida Cormier, 71, of Notre Dame, passed away on Saturday, June 11th, 2016 at the Dr. Georges–L. Dumont UHC. Born February 3rd, 1945 in Notre–Dame, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Clara (Saulnier) Pellerin.

She was a member of the Golden Age Club of Notre–Dame, enjoyed dancing and music.

She will be sadly missed by her three children: Michel Bourque (Linda Marie) of MA, Pauline Cormier (Réginald) and Raymond Cormier (Gloria) both of Notre–Dame; four sisters: Violette Cormier (late Émery) of Ste Anne de Kent, Yolande Leger (late Paul) and Jeanette LeBlanc (Alcide) both of Moncton and Denise Pellerin (Roméo Saulnier) of MacDougall Settlement; two brothers: Edouard Pellerin (Gisèle) of St–Antoine and Valmond Pellerin (Simonne) of Notre–Dame; seven grandchildren: Kelly, Jennifer, Monique, Lise, Nicole, Renelle and Nicholas, as well as many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her husband, Clarence (2001); two sisters: Aurelda Bouque and Jeanita LeBlanc; one brother, Jean–Paul.

The family will receive condolences at Notre–Dame Slumber Room located at 3863 Route 115, Notre–Dame, on Wednesday, June 15th, 2016 from 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. until time of funeral. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Notre–Dame–du–Sacré–Coeur Roman Catholic Church in Notre–Dame on Thursday, June 16th, 2016 at 7 p.m. Interment will be in St. Anselme parish cemetery, Dieppe.

In memory of Alcida, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (oncology department)would be appreciated.

The family would like to express their sincerest gratitude to the staff at the Dr. Georges–L. Dumont UHC palliative care unit.
