It is with great sadness that the family of the late Beryl Goodland announce her passing on June 11, 2016, at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Home in her 85th year. She is survived by her six children: Gerry (Beulah) of St. Jude's, Melvin (Georgina) of Dorchester, NB, Bernard of St. David's, ON, Rick (Debbie) of Toronto, ON, Wanda Janes of Whitby, ON and Arlene (Wade) Janes of Deer Lake; son-in-law Bob Rose of St. Jude's; and a large number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Lindsay; granddaughters: Angela Goodland and Julie Janes; brothers: Ted and Claude Cross; son Joe; daughter Brenda and son-in-law William Janes. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive in Deer Lake on Monday, June 13th, 2016 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Deer Lake on Tuesday, June 14th, 2016 at 10:30 am with Father Gabriel Selvanathan officiating. Interment will be at the Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
