It comes with great sadness we announce the passing of Arthur Gerald who was surrounded by his loving family. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and brother. Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Lillian; brother Raymond and father-in-law Raymond Vey. Leaving to mourn with sad hearts, his loving wife of 45 years Marina Doris (nee Vey); his children: Eileen (Paul) Coombs, Roberta and Randy; grandchildren: Erina, Brooklyn, Brant and Maximus; siblings: Ed (Daisy), Marion (Henry) Thorne, Gordon (Rowena), Eric (Marie), Geraldine (Patty) Vicars, and mother-in-law Eileen Vey. Also nieces, nephews and a large circle of friends. Arthur Gerald was a proud member for the last 50 years of the Local 740 Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Association. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Ave., Mt. Pearl on Monday and Tuesday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 10-12 noon. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2016 at 2 p.m. from Parish of The Ascension. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
