Formerly of Chapel Arm died peacefully in St. John's on June 17, 2016 at the age of 94. She has been a resident of St. Luke's Homes since 2009. Hazel is survived by daughters Bonita (Al McClean), Frances Warren, Evelyn Mogridge, Shelley Warren, sons Otto (Valerie) Warren, Roger Warren; brother Edward (Carrie) Spurrell ; three sisters: Effie Vokey, Doris Vokey, and Betty Slade; sister-in-laws: Shirley Spurrell, and Ethel Spurrell; brother-law Levi Warren; 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Predeceased by husband Clarence, four infant children, brothers Walter and George, and son-in-law George Mogridge. Resting at Holloways Funeral Home Whitbourne June 20 with visitation from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral is scheduled for Tuesday, June 21 at two o'clock at the Anglican Church in Chapel Arm, with a reception to follow at the Anglican Hall in Chapel Arm. No flowers by request.
