WHITE, WILLIAM "BILL"
William “Bill” White of Memramcook passed away on Friday June 17, 2016 at the age of 90. Born in Bay Roberts, NL, he was the son of the late James and Elsie White of Bay Roberts, NL.

Bill was a Canadian Veteran and later was a Federal Correction Officer at Dorchester Penitentiary. Bill was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with his family and friends.

Bill will be sadly missed by his wife Lila of 69 years; two daughters, Violet Green (Dennis) of Dieppe and Jeannette Bursey (Greg) of Halifax; one son, Leonard White of Havelock; one grandson, Jason Green (Erin) of Ottawa / England; two great grandchildren, Declan and Imogen. Bill also leaves to mourn his sisters, Alice Mercer, Margaret Mercer and Jean Purdy; his brothers, Samual White and Jerome White.

He was predeceased by his parents and by his brother Jim White.

A private family and friends remembrance to be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Wednesday June 22 from 2 to 4 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the donor’s choice.
