Sandy was the son of the late Alec and Kay MacDonald.
Surviving are loving wife, Tammy Sinclair and sons, Dennis Edmonton Alta., Gordon, Halifax N.S. and four grandchildren. Also surviving are sisters, Francis, Alexis and Mary; brothers, Michael, Greg and Bernie.
Predeceased by brother, Jimmy.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
