WORDEN, MICHAEL JOHN
“WHIPPER SWEET”
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Michael Worden announces his passing, which occurred on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Bobby’s Hospice surrounded by those he loved. Born in Saint John on September 23, 1955 he was a son of the late Dolly and Raymond Sweet and husband of the late Theresa Worden.

Michael will be missed by his sons, Michael, Jordan and Christian Rowe; a grandson, Carter Lynch; the mother of his children, Wendy Rowe; his siblings, Herbie Sweet (Pat), Irene Laviolette (John), David Sweet (Linda), Jessie O’Brien (Danny), Kim Worden, Wayne Worden (Claudette), Diane Nice (Ricky), Paul Worden, Frank Worden and Brian Worden; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to his parents and wife, Michael was predeceased by his biological parents, Ramona and Daniel Worden; and his siblings, Raymond Sweet and Linda, Sandra and Willy Worden.

The family would like to express sincere thanks and gratitude to the wonderful staff and volunteers at Bobby’s Hospice for all their care and compassion, and a special thanks to Hugh McGill for all the support and kindness he gave to Michael.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634–7424).

A private interment will take place at Greenwood cemetery for his family at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances made to Bobby’s Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
