CLOWATER, SHIRLEY
The death of Shirley Virginia Clowater of Centreville occurred on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Born January 23, 1937 in Piercemont, she was the daughter of the late William and Carrie (DeMerchant) Crain.

She was also predeceased by her husband, Calvin; 1 son, Douglas; 6 brothers, Duncan, Hilton, Gaylon, Donnie, Earl and Larry.

Shirley is survived by her 4 children, Cheryl Reed (Lynn), Steven Clowater (Marlene), Charlie Clowater (Marcia) and Mark Clowater (Tracey); 9 grandchildren, Joel, Matthew, Katelyn, Ward, Nicole, Jessica, Christopher, Oliver and Aaron; 9 siblings, Charles Crain, Alta Wright (Russell), Connie Flemming (Bob), Clifford Crain (Eileen), Lauraine Hoyt (Bruce), Wavel Crain (Dianne), Hugh John Crain (Terri), Andrea Lint (Roy) and David Crain (Sharon); 2 sisters in law, Clarice Clowater and Vilo Crain as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville–Bristol onThursday, June 23, 2016 from 4–8 pm. A private graveside service will be held in the Centreville Baptist Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations made to Camp Shikethawk or the Upper River Valley Hospital Auxiliary would be appreciated.
