Joan Truman Paul (nee Fillmore) passed away peacefully at the Palliser Regional Care Center in Swift Current, SK on Friday, June 17, 2016 at the age of 83. Joan was born to Charles & Mary Fillmore on May 7, 1933 at Macroff, Manitoba. She married Walter Paul in 1951, her husband of 39 years before his passing in June, 1990. Joan leaves behind her four children: Lorna Paul, Calvin Paul, Victor Paul, and Vinton (Leona) Paul; her six grandchildren: Jory Ridley, John (Christina) Paul, Ezra Paul, Levi Paul, Brian Paul, and Bryce Paul; her siblings: Muriel Dixon, Helen (Vernon) Armistead, twin sister June Norvedt, Wilma Fillmore, and Edward Fillmore; and by numerous nieces and nephews. A private graveside service was held on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at the Waldeck Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Cypress Regional Hospital and the Palliser Care Centre for taking good care of their mother. They also thank the Swift Current Funeral Home for helping with the funeral arrangements during this difficult time.
