COGSWELL, NORA MARGARET
The family of Nora Margaret Cogswell sadly announces her death on June 25, 2016, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. She was the wife of Robert W. Cogswell who died May 5, 1996, and the daughter of Osborne and Belle (Carr) Smith of Geary, N.B. She was born May 28, 1929.

Nora was predeceased by her husband, parents, and three sisters: Retta Piercy (Ewart), Minnie Duffie (Eugene), and Ena Carr (Clinton).

In going to be with her Lord Jesus, Nora leaves behind her three sons: Dale (Rosalie), Michael (Edith), and Robert (Cheryl); seven grandchildren, Andrew, David, Jonathan, Wade, Michelle, Rebecca, and Nicholas; and five great–grandchildren, Arthur, Henry, Evan, Kayla, and Josiah, as well as many nephews and nieces with their families. She is also survived by one brother–in–law, Alvah Cogswell, of Lincoln, N.B. Nora will also be missed by her close nieces Rilla Smith and Brenda Nickerson.

The family wishes to thank all the caregivers and medical staff who have assisted Nora since last August, especially Dr. Naomi White, the staff at Oromocto Public Hospital, the Duffie Centre, the staff at White Rapids Nursing Home, and at the DEC Hospital. The care and concern shown to her were without equal.

Visitation will be at Oromocto Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 28, from 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, June 29 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Perry Edwards officiating. Interment will follow at the Preston Carr Cemetery, Geary.
