Passed away peacefully at Lakeside Homes, Gander on Thursday, June 30th, 2016, Lindsay Harvey, age 95. Predeceased by his parents George and Matilda, wife Amelia “Lizzie”, brothers John, Sandy, Wallace, and Sam. Left to mourn with loving memories are his son Stedman of Carmanville, daughters Joan, Marjorie (Dave Brett), Marie (Freeman Fry) all of Carmanville, Sheila (Gonzo Brown) of Paradise, brother Ewart of Mississauga, sisters Patsy (Cyril Abbott), Jane Abbott of Musgrave Harbour, Lena (Hayward Gillingham) of Glenwood, grandchildren Dana (Shelley), Toni (Lori), Carla, Jody, Nancy (Emile), Leslie (Phil), Leeann (Shane), Conway (Charlene), great-grandchildren Crystal, Trent, Joshua, Mathilda, Liam, Louis, Alexa, Isaac, Janelle, Seamus, Josiah and a large circle of relatives and friends. Rested at Stacey's Funeral Home, Carmanville. Funeral service was held at the Salvation Army Citadel, on Saturday, July 2nd at 11:00 A.M. Interment followed at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Carmanville South. Donations in Lindsays memory may be made to The Alzheimer's Society of Newfoundland and Labrador, 835 Topsail Road, Unit 107, Mount Pearl, NL. A1N 3J6.
