MILLS, ROBERT B.
1943–2016
Moncton – Robert Bertram Mills, husband of the late Noreen M. Mills, of Hamilton St., Miramichi, passed away at the Dr. George Dumont Hospital, Moncton, on Saturday, July 9, 2016, at the age of 73.Born in Moncton, on May 31, 1943, he was the son of the late Bertram and Rita (Buggie) Mills.

He was a Stationary Engineer by profession and attended St. Andrews Roman Catholic Church, Miramichi.

He is survived by one daughter, Jocelyne Anderson, of Nashua, New Hampshire, USA; two sons, Robert J. Mills (Shelley), of Rothesay and Shawn Mills (Renee), of Ottawa, Ont.; seven grandchildren, Brandon, Amanda, Christopher, Lydia, Amelia, Samson, Isaac; two sisters, Mary Grant (Francis) and Anne King (Wayne), all of Napan; three brothers, Ernest Mills (Brenda), of Strathadam, Billy Mills (Gloria), of Napan and Van Mills (Sheila), of Jemseg.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife, the former Noreen M. Dickson, in 2015; one brother, James Mills; one son-in-law, John Anderson.

Bob’s pursuit of new challenges and adventure took him to several Canadian provinces and overseas to Indonesia. A loving husband and family man, Bob especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Mr. Robert Mills is resting at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., with visiting on Tuesday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Andrews Roman Catholic Church, Miramichi, onWednesday, July 13, 2016, at 11:30 am, conducted by Father Charles Udah. Interment will be in St. Andrews Cemetery, Miramichi.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Miramichi Food Bank or the Miramichi Hospice Program would be appreciated by the family.
