Peacefully, at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre, on Thursday, December 24th, 2015, the death occurred of Leo "Damien" McManus, age 72 years. Born in Brookvale, he was a son of the late Louis and Annie (nee Smith) McManus. He is survived by his sons Greg (Kathy) and Keith McManus; grandson Tyson; sisters Hilda (Bob) Mulligan, Pauline (Gerald, deceased) Murphy and Barbara Flanighan; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral mass will be held in St. Joseph’s Church, Kelly’s Cross on Saturday, July 16th at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Parish Cemetery. **The family has requested that all honorary pallbearers please meet at the church between 9:30-9:45 a.m.** Arrangements have been entrusted to Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home.
