It is with sadness that we the family announce the passing of Johnny
David Ling, age 66 of South Bar on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in New Waterford, he was the son of the late Malcom and Clara (MacNeil) Ling.
He is survived by sister, Agnes (John) Murray, Glace Bay; brothers, Danny (Venie), New Victoria and Frank, Toronto. He will also be sadly missed by his niece and nephews.
John loved to sing and read poetry.
A chapel service celebrating Johnny's life will be held Sunday, July 17 at 1 p.m. with Deacon Leo Penny officiating. Burial to follow in St. Alphonse Cemetery.
