Darla Lee Swain
1968 - 2016
Darla passed away suddenly July 24 in the Calgary area. Darla loved her family and friends, and lived life to the fullest, but above all others were her three boys and her grandson. She is predeceased by her father Ron Swain, and step-father Ernie Folk. Darla will be sadly missed by her mother Norma (Swain) Folk; sons, Zachary Lowe, Jared (Stephanie) Lowe, and Lucas Lowe; grandson Jonathon Lowe; brothers Boyd (Theresa) Swain, and Rob (Paula) Swain; numerous family and friends. The Celebration of Darla’s life will be held at Minto United Church Auditorium, 1036 Seventh Ave. N.W., on Saturday July 30, 2016 at 1:30 pm, with a program to begin at 2:00. Della Ferguson will officiate. In memory of Darla, donations can be made to a charity of choice. In living memory of Darla, a memorial planting will be made by W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home.
