It is with great sadness that the family of Pat (Cliff) Doucette announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital on July 26, 2016 at the age of 70 years after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Left to mourn and heartbroken are his loving wife Margie (Pilgrim), his son Patrick (Samantha), grandsons Weston and Tyrell, his sisters Leona (Ray) and Maggie, brother Wayne, sister-in-law Mary, brother-in-law Clifton and special cousin Gus (Sylvia). Also, left to mourn are his brothers-in law Bill, Phil (Margie), Ron (Mary), Allan (Trish), Harris, Kevin and Alex (Val), sisters-in-law Rosetta (Alan), Betty, Trudy (Bill) and Kay (Bruce), along with his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a large circle of friends. Pat is predeceased by his parents, Roland and Anna Doucette, brother Cyril, sister Eileen and baby sister Marie. A special thank you to Dr. Porter, Dr. Idzior, and the nurses in the Chemo Unit, whose care and compassion over the last few years is very deeply appreciated by his family. Also, a special thank you to the nurses and staff on the Medicine Ward for the care they provided to Pat and for their support to his family during the last few weeks. Your understanding and patience will never be forgotten. Thank you to all the medical professionals who cared for Pat over the last 15 years. In keeping with Pat's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Pat's Life will be held at the Lion's Club on Friday, July 29, 2016 from 2 - 4 p.m. All are welcome.
