It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Colleen Rosta on Thursday, July 28,2016 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney, surrounded by her family.
Born in Point Aconi, Colleen was the daughter, of Roberta (Forrest) Marsh and the late Gerald Marsh.
Besides her mother, Colleen is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Joseph; step children, Jo Anne, Tammy (Kenny), Nancy and Derrick; step grandchildren, Lindsey, Erin, Brittany, Jeffery and Cody. She is also survived by her siblings, Maureen (Richard), Joan, Gerald (Sharon), Sheri and special brother, Lloyd; her mother-in-law, Madeline; sisters-in-law Judy and Madeline; brother-in-law, Henry (Lynn), many nieces and nephews as well as her chosen family, the community of Eskasoni.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at the Gabriel Center, Eskasoni from 7 p.m. until service time at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 3,2016 at Holy Family Parish with Fr. Martin MacDougal officiating.
Interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Sydney Forks.
