Patsy (Patricia) Ann Cavanaugh
April 7, 1949 - August 2, 2016

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patsy on August 2, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. Patsy was 67 years old and passed away at Surrey Memorial Hospital in Surrey, BC. She was born April 7, 1949 in Oakville, ON to the late Douglas Patton and the late Evelyn McCallum. They later moved to Nova Scotia. She was also predeceased by her infant son Robert, step-father Ed McCallum, brother Michael(wife Betty), step-brother Leroy, sister in law Pam Patton. Patsy is survived by her husband Robert. They would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on October 22, 2016. Daughters, Frances(Bob), Cheryl(Wade). Son Travis (Angie). Grandchildren, Anissa, Jaymie, Nicholas, Rylie & Teaghen. Brother, James Patton of Truro, NS, step sister Tressa(Tom) of Toronto, ON. Many sisters/brothers in law, nieces/nephews. Patsy and Robert moved to BC from Truro, NS in the early 1970's. Patsy was a long time employee of McDonalds Restaurant where she worked for 34 years until she took a leave of absence in May 2015 due to her illness. Lifetime fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs, We will celebrate Patsy's life on August 13th, 2016 @ 1pm with a memorial tea. First Memorial Funeral Services, 14835 Fraser Highway, Surrey, BC.
