Passed away at the Placentia Health Care Centre on Saturday, August 6, 2016, Bernard F. (Ben) McGrath, age 80 years of Dunville, formerly of Argentia, NL. Predeceased by wife Madeline on June 6, 2009, his father and mother John and Bridget McGrath, brothers Vincent, Richard and Michael, sisters-in-law Betty McGrath and Ella McGrath and brother-in-law Con Traverse. Leaving to mourn his children Bernie (Marion), Frank (Janine), and Bonnie, his three grandchildren Kaitlin, Brady and Ali McGrath, brothers Adrian and Ambrose (Mary), sisters-in-law Ann McGrath, Mary McGrath, Bertha Fitzgerald (Ned), Olive Traverse, brothers-in-law Bill and Jim Traverse (Marie), special cousin Bride Murphy, nieces, nephews, and longtime friends Angus and Lorraine Gilbert, and Geraldine Mooney and family. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-9 and Monday from 10-1. Funeral Mass to take place at St. Anne's Church, Dunville on Monday, August 8, 2016 at 2 p.m., with interment to follow in Coombs Memorial Cemetery, Southeast.
