HAROLD ERIC LORDLY
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father and Grandfather Eric Lordly. Eric passed away on August 12th, 2016 surrounded by his family.
Born in Sydney, NS in 1932, he was the son of the late Percy and Leah (Hines) Lordly. Family was first and foremost with Eric. He was a devoted father, grandfather and friend. He took great joy with his children and grandchildren. He also loved spending time with his faithful companion Dusty. He enjoyed many fishing trips in Dutch Brook with his father and son over his lifetime.
Eric was survived by his wife, Millie (Dunn); daughter, Leah Jane (Bruce) Curry; son and best buddy, Percy (Noreen) Lordly, his pride and joy his granddaughters, Danielle (Florian) Bauer and Ericka Curry; sisters, Betty Somers and Mary Lou Van Den Broek; brother, Winston (Donna) Lordly and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters, Helen (Bob) Stevens and Josephine Lordly.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday Aug. 16, 2016 at 11 a.m. in the S.W Chant & Son Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Sheldon Chant officiating. Reception to follow.
