It is with great sadness that the family of the late Evelyn Mary Neilson announce her passing on Monday, August 15, 2016 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook in her 71st year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 52 years Raymond; sons: Glenn (Jetta), Leslie (Cori) and Hilding Raymond; beloved daughter Krista; grandchildren: Joshua, Matthew, Ryan and Aubrey; mother Catherine Lewis; brothers: Bernard (Rosalind) Lewis, James (Barbara) Lewis and David (Ivy) Lewis; sister Kathy Quinlan; brothers-in-law: Grant (Shirley) Neilson, Karl (Janice) Neilson, Gerald Hilding Neilson, Charles Phillips and Boyd French; sisters-in-law: Barbara (Derm) Hayes, Linda Maddock and Meg Neilson; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her father Philip Lewis, 1983, sisters Phyllis (George) Templeton and Regina Phillips, father and mother-in-law Erik and Barbara Neilson, brothers-in-law Eric Neilson, Donald Neilson, Leo Quinlan and William Maddock, sisters-in-law Greta Neilson and Olga Nilsson-French. Cremation has taken place. Friends may visit Holy Rosary Parish in Pasadena on Friday, August 19 from 7-9 p.m. to pay respects to the family. There will be a private funeral service and burial.
