Passed away peacefully at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL, on Sunday, August 21st, 2016, surrounded by his loved ones, Martin Stanley Caines at the age of 90 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Emma nee Hutchings of 68 years, his children: Glyn (Patsy), Dennis (Connie), Pearl, Mona and Pam (Fred), his grandchildren whom he loved dearly: Darren (Janice), Darrell (Renee), Jamie, Jon (Samara), Renee, Christopher and Joe (Courtney), his great-grandchildren: Megan, Mirish, Zak, Brody, Cameron, Jaden, Hailey, Mia, Brodie and Sierrah, his sisters: Evangeline Payne, Bertha Payne, Lizzie Hiscock and Ula Payne, sisters-in-law: Dioly and Maxine and brother-in-law Melvin and special nephew Martin Kennedy (Marg). Martin was predeceased by his parents: Eliza Jane and Martin Caines, brothers: John, Wilson (Annie) and Fred, his sister Dorothy (Frank), his brothers-in-law: Leonard Hiscock, Len Payne, Chris Payne and Ellis Payne, also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended families and many friends. The family will be receiving family and friends at Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL, on Tuesday, August 23rd, 2016, from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm, and continuing at St. Mary's The Virgin, Anglican Church in Cow Head, NL, on Wednesday, August 24th, 2016, from the hours of 10-1 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Wednesday, August 24th, 2016, at 2 pm, with Canon Terry Rose officiating with the burial to follow at Anglican Church Cemetery at Beldown's Pt, NL.
