Atkinson, Patricia Marion - It is with great sorrow the family of Marion Atkinson announces her passing, at the age of 58, at the QEII Hospital V.G. Site on August 30th, 2016 after a brief illness. Marion was born in Barrington Passage on June 15, 1958 she was a daughter of Pansy and the late Vance Atkinson. She is survived by her mother Pansy; husband Ed Riley; children Lavern, Jennifer, Kory, Terrance, and Edward, brother, Edgar, and several grandchildren. Marion was predeceased by her father Vance; and brothers Phillip, Hartley, and Vance Jr. She will be missed by all, but her memory will live on in her children, family and friends. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 3rd, 2016 at 2:00 pm from H.M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington, NS.
