As peacefully and gently as he lived, Jack passed away at the QEH in Charlottetown, PEI, Friday, Sept. 2, 2016, age 87 years, with family by his side. Survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Sibyl (nee Hosking), and devoted sisters Beverly Dunsford and Audrey Downe. Forever treasured by children Blake, Brent, Neil (Patty Palmer), Nora (Tom Graungaard), and Kirk (Jackie); predeceased by cherished son Christopher. Proud grandfather of Robbie (Sarah), Hattie, Jeffrey Jack, Newton, Brynn, Tate, Dane, Cale, Elly, Reece, Sam, and Ivy; recent great-grandfather of Olson and Wells. Visitation to be held at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home on Tuesday, Sept. 6 from 7 - 9 p.m., with Celebration of Life at Spring Park United Church, Charlottetown, Wednesday, Sept. 7 at 11 a.m. Following a reception at the church, a private family interment will be held at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Valley.
