The family of the late Agnes MacAulay, would like to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the many relatives and friends who helped ease the sorrow of our mothers passing. We gratefully acknowledge the cards, food, flowers and monetary donations as well as visits to the funeral home that helped us deal with Moms sudden passing. Special thanks to the staff of The Palliative Care Unit,,Cape Breton Regional Hospital for their exemplary care and to our cousins Cynthia Stevenson Landry and Mary Imlay and their husband's Nathan and Fred for once again providing such wonderful help .To Mom's friend of many years-- her sister-in-law Teresa MacAulay, how could we ever thank you for all you have done to help our Mom. To our cousins on “The Hill” we are so grateful for all your help at such a difficult time. Gratitude also to Rev Peter MacDonald for his support and for doing such a beautiful Funeral Service for Mom. Special appreciation to the members of the Big Bras d’Or Community Hall for making sure Mom remained included over the years ---it was such an important part of her life. We have been overwhelmed by the help so many in the community had given Mom along the way. Although it is impossible to thank everyone individually please be assured your kindness and friendship will always be remembered.
